Install on Windows

Download cadcraft-0.5.0-windows-x64.msi (64-bit, suits most Windows 10 and 11 PCs). ARM64 and 32-bit builds and portable zips are on the release page. cadcraft-0.5.0-windows-x64.msi

Double-click the MSI and follow the installer. If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning, choose More info → Run anyway.

Launch CADCraft from the Start menu.

For IT admins, a silent install with a desktop shortcut:

>msiexec /i cadcraft-0.5.0-windows-x64.msi /qn DESKTOPSHORTCUT=1

Install on macOS

Download cadcraft-0.5.0-macos-universal.dmg. It runs natively on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs. cadcraft-0.5.0-macos-universal.dmg

Open the DMG and drag CADCraft into your Applications folder.

Launch it from Applications. If macOS blocks the first launch, right-click the app and choose Open.

Install on Linux

Download the Flatpak bundle (x86_64) and install it for your user: cadcraft-0.5.0-linux-x86_64.flatpak

Verify your download

Every release ships a SHA256SUMS.txt file. Compare its value with the checksum of the file you downloaded: SHA256SUMS.txt

Build from source

You need a recent Rust toolchain (Rust 1.95 or newer for the desktop and web UI). Then clone and run with a sample drawing:

>cargo run --release -p cadcraft -- --sample

Command-line tool (for scripts and agents)

cadcraft-cli is a headless build for automation, CI and AI agents. It ships with the desktop downloads (macOS has a separate universal CLI zip).

>cadcraft-cli convert drawing.dxf drawing.svg
>cadcraft-cli mcp

Self-host the web version

The release includes cadcraft-web-0.5.0.zip, a static site with no server code. Upload the folder anywhere that serves static files. Serve .wasm as application/wasm and enable gzip or Brotli to cut the download from about 13 MB to about 5 MB. cadcraft-web-0.5.0.zip
