About this policy

CADCraft AI operates cadcraft.org, an independent guide to the open-source CADCraft CAD software: CADCraft download and installation guides, a comparison with Autodesk AutoCAD, tutorials, user experience notes and a hosted copy of the CADCraft web app. This policy explains what information we process and why. Drawings in the online app

The online version of CADCraft runs entirely in your browser. Drawings you create or open there are not uploaded to our servers. Saving and exporting download files directly to your computer. The app may keep preferences in your browser's local storage.

Downloads

Download buttons link to the official CADCraft releases on GitHub. When you download a file, GitHub receives your request under its own privacy statement.

Account information

You do not need an account to use the site. If you choose to create one, we store your email address, name, profile picture (if you sign in with Google) and login sessions.

Technical and analytics data

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses, browser and device details and request logs to deliver and secure the site. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are useful; these tools may use cookies or similar technologies.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, email, analytics) or when required by law.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your account data at any time by emailing support@cadcraft.org. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
